This is the paper bridge we made with the given materials.
In this challenge we had to design and build a product that maximizes the distance between 2 blocks which are connected my a continuous route of paper using the design process. The paper must be a continuous chain of paper from one block to the other without touching the tabletop. Other constraints are both blocks are at table height. The card stock can be modified. Additional materials may be used to construct but not during the final product. The winning design meets the constraints and has the blocks farthest apart. The equipment given is your notebook to sketch, a pencil, 3/4 inch wooden blocks (2), 1 sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 in. card stock, and construction tools such as scissors. For this challenge I learned that you didn't need it to be the longest, you just needed it to be the most effective when it came to not touching the table/ desk and it staying on the 2 blocks.
